Cassie W. Harris, 84, died peacefully on Friday, April 22, 2011 at her home in Savannah.

Mrs. Harris was born in Candler County, GA on October 19, 1926, the daughter of the late Isaac Jones and Maggie Johnson Webb.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, Frank Harris, Sr.; daughter, Jane Harris and son, Frank Harris, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Beasley and husband Ken; grandchildren, Angela Stillwell Jeff, D.J. Williams Sandy, Ben Harris Tammy and Cassie Jones; great-grandchildren, Anslee Renee and Devin Hunter Williams and Makenna Harris; sisters, Ida Miley and Mary Hefner.

Visitation will be Sunday, April 24th from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.

The funeral service and burial are private.
